Scandinavian Charm Meets Cozy Living: A Home Decor Journey
Creating a home that tells a story isn't about overnight transformations—it's about thoughtful curation and personal connection. Our design adventure with the cabin living room drew inspiration from the rich palette of Scandinavian design, blending blues and reds from a cherished side table to craft a space that feels both intentional and inviting.

A Layered Approach to Design
The key to our cabin's aesthetic was patience and strategic selection. Rather than rushing to fill every corner, we carefully collected pieces that spoke to us - a mix of old and new finds. Practically met style with our Ruggable rug - a smart solution for families with pets and children. This piece exemplifies modern design that doesn't compromise on functionality. The print above the fireplace anchored the colours we chose, tying together the room's Nordic -inspired elements.

Embracing Slow Design
In a world of fast furniture and instant gratification, we chose a different path. Each piece in our space has a story - an end table made by my husband's uncle, prints of family photos, re-purposed furniture and pillows sewn by me (Home by Randi) with fabric from Tonic Living.
Making Memories

These aren't just decorative items; they're memories, conversations, and connections. My design philosophy is simple: collect meaningfully, choose wisely, and let your space evolve naturally. The result? A home that's not just decorated, but truly lived in - a reflection of personal journey, style and the imperfection of real life.
